Monolingual

If you want to free up some disk space, you should look at the system's language files. You will never have any reason to set your Mac to Cherokee, Flemish, Yiddish or other languages you don't speak, so the language packs can go. This is where Monolingual comes in. Its purpose is to remove unneeded languages from a Mac. Just point it to one or more languages and the application will take care of the rest.

All languages on your Mac are listed on Monolingual's compact user interface. A large number of languages are selected by default, but you can manually select and deselect individual languages, according to your own needs. When your selection is complete, you only need to click a button and the application will start removing the selected languages.

Besides languages, the application is capable of removing architecture files as well. You can target them in a similar fashion, on the same interface, but on a separate tab. If you have more languages to remove, but they didn't show up on the interface, you can just add their parent folder to a list, in the general settings panel. It is also possible to set the application to send the language files to the trash, instead of erasing them.
